THE LANE BY DOROTHY SHAIN

"The Lane" is an original 18" x 24" mixed media painting on a 300 gsm, acid-free printmaking paper.

These pieces are created using materials ranging from charcoals and graphite to Sumi inks. I pull inspiration from the swimwear shapes of the 50's and 60's - a time when women pushed the envelope and dived in a little more daringly.
